Description
Isolation Gown – Level 3
This AAMI level 1 isolation gown is made of heavy weight spunbond polypropylene material and coated with a layer of polyethylene (plastic) film. This provides a high level of fluid repellency.
Meets AAMI Level 3
The gowns meet the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) PB70 standard. This is the standard designated for “Liquid barrier performance and classification of protective apparel and drapes intended for use in health care facilities.”
Sonically welded seams prevent strike-through
EXL Medical's AAMI level 2 isolation gowns feature sonically welded seams to prevent strike-through where the sleeves are joined to the body of the gown. Sonically welded seams provide a higher level of protection compared to isolation gowns that have sewn sleeves.
