EXL Medical’s AAMI level 2 isolation gowns are made of multiple layers of fabric to provide a high level of fluid repellency. The fabric features dense meltblown layers sandwiched between strong spunbond outer layers.
Meets AAMI Level 2
The gowns meet the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) PB70 standard. This is the standard designated for “Liquid barrier performance and classification of protective apparel and drapes intended for use in health care facilities"
Sonically welded seams prevent strike-through
EXL Medical's AAMI level 2 isolation gowns feature sonically welded seams to prevent strike-through where the sleeves are joined to the body of the gown. Sonically welded seams provide a higher level of protection compared to isolation gowns that have sewn sleeves.
